…or is it just me? I’m thinking maybe it is both. I almost dread to flip on the TV in the mornings. The News never seems to have anything good to say anymore. It looks like things are going to get so much worse before anything gets better. Not looking forward to that!
I went to the store today and bought groceries. That wouldn’t be such a big deal, but I haven’t done it in a while. I have totally been a slacker in the dinner department recently. I think I could count on two hands how many times I have made it since I started school. It has been that bad. I am also struggling because when I do make it all I hear are whines and complains from the kids because they don’t like it. It is really frustrating!
So here is a request, which I don’t do very often… I need quick and easy recipes. You know the ones when you don’t want to cook dinner but you have to so you pick out the easiest thing you can think of… yeah, I need those ones! If you have any good ones please do share…
Also if you know of a way to make children unlazy and unslobiful (my word) I could use help in that department also :-)

Do you have a crockpot? For me, this is the easiest way to cook. You just throw the ingredients in, plug it in and 6-8 hours later have a great-tasting dinner. I've even fixed it the night before, so all I have to do is plug it in the next morning. I have a large number of recipes on my computer. If you are interested, send me an email and I'll send it to you.

Yep, a crockpot! I have time to fix dinner, but I sitll cook in my crockpot at least 2-3 times a week. Even things you wouldn't normally cook in a crockpot, I do anyway. LOL
I likey the new picture but I will miss the seaweed quote.
