My childrens school year is quickly coming to an end and with it I have found that they come home daily with oddles of paper. They then proceed to rip it out of their backpacks and throw it on the floor wherever they are... or as my eleven year old pointed out... they also put it on the table (which isn't much better at this point). It then takes me a good half hour to sort through it all and keep the important stuff and throw away the crap (which is a good majority of the stuff). That is if I keep up with it daily. Yesterday I didn't put in my half hour so it looks like I have a good hour of stuff. It just astonishes me how much paper they use. No wonder they have to cut down the rain forests. I wonder how much time a teacher has to take just passing out and collecting and sorting all this paper.
