Cruzin!

Just for some family fun we took the little ones and drove out to California. There we spent a day at Six Flags Magic Mountain...

...before we hopped onto a large cruise ship which took us to Mexico.

All around the trip took 10 days and it was a blast for all of us (and the friends that we went with). I would have to say that if you asked us what we did most of the time the answer would have to be that we ate...

And ate...

And ate some more!

We also enjoyed shows and dancing and beaches.

Nate and Emily went para-sailing over the ocean. (I was too big of a wimp)

We all took a zip line trip across Puerto Vallarta's pretty forest.

We spent a day boogie boarding out in the vast ocean of "salt". (The ocean ate me... Luckily it spit me back out... I guess I didn't taste good to it either.)

And a good majority took a swim out with the fish in a somewhat cloudy snorkeling adventure. (Again I wimped out... it was the oceans fault for trying to eat me the day before... I hadn't forgiven it yet.) I thought James was just going to snorkel out into the ocean and never come back. He took off and I am not sure where he was headed, but I was getting ready to dive in after him (though I doubt I could have saved him) when he finally looked up and realized he was swimming away from the crowd.

All in all we kept ourselves busy enjoying all the cruise ship had to offer and also did a few things in Mexico to keep ourselves entertained. The kids had "clubs" that they spent a large majority of their time hanging out at. Seth and James got to pull a few all nighters and even the girls stayed out one night till 3 am with their club.

Lets just say that the ride home was less than fun with a bunch of grumpy kids that hadn't slept well for days and were use to eating FREQUENTLY. LOL. But the rest of the trip was a BLAST!
