This picture has been floating around our house for a few days now. It has been quite the little gossip topic among family. As I was wasting time on Facebook I had little Sethie walk up and ask "who the heck" that picture was of. The screen was scrolled down so you could only see as much of the picture as the one above. The head was not visible. I asked him who "he" thought the picture was of. He said he thought it must be one of my "crazy" Internet friends.
You should have seen his jaw drop when I scrolled the picture down so he could see the model. It was a priceless memory! He was speechless for at least 10 seconds. Then he murmured the only word that came to mind "wow" and he literally stumbled away with shock written all over his face.
When we siblings first got sent this picture, we thought someone must have drugged our mom to get her to pose this one out. Heck, she won't even let us take a picture of her with normal clothing on. Not that she is really wearing a bikini or anything, though I think that is more leg than I have ever seen of her
(or ever cared to see :-) ). But turns out she willingly posed for it and she seems actually quite proud of it. I do have a little fashion advice for her. Bikini's and socks... BIG NO, NO together!!! Even with the fake bikini night gowns!
Seems that my mom just had the BEST trip back home EVER. She took my Aunt Debbie with her and they hooked up with my moms best friend from her High School days. My mom referred to them as the Three Musketeers, though I am starting to think that they were more like the Three Stooges after seeing the pictures they took. It is just a bummer I missed the whole thing. We'll have to take Aunt Debbie on all of our vacations from now on. Might open up our world to a side of our mom we have never seen.
