Ashlee and Seth

I am getting tired and I need to clean my house still... so I am going to wrap this up with the last two kids together.

Seth is still doing the break dance thing. His head broke Nate's Harmony 1 remote a couple of months ago... Not a good thing, but I guess I would rather the remote break than Seth's head so I am thinking we should be count our blessings. He is doing well in school and he seems to be adapting well to the seventh grade. He has been playing the trumpet and seems to enjoy it.
Seth is a compassionate kid who takes the time to think about others before putting himself first. Having been around many teenagers I realize that that isn't a quality to take for granted. He makes me a proud momma!

Ash is in 4th grade this year. She still struggles a bit with academic stuff, but she has come a long way. Right now we are trying to get past the multiplication stuff which is holding her up a bit. She has picked up drawing recently and she can spend hours every day making little pictures which she refers to as "book marks".
She really likes these little plastic animals called Squishies that she gets from a machine at school. The only way to get them is to get 100% on her spelling or vocab or to turn in her homework. She has never really been interested in getting her homework turned in before and it usually ends up as a heap of ripped up paper in my garbage when I try to force her to do it, so I am thinking these Squishy things are pretty awesome!

That is all for now. Pictures will be added once I take the rime to find or take some :-)
